Unlock More Happiness through Creativity

Did you know creativity leads to more happiness? You don’t have to be an artist to be creative. Creativity comes in many forms, from journaling and gardening to cooking and decorating. When you tap into your creative side, your imagination flows, stress melts away, and your mood lifts. Studies even show that creative activities help ease depression and anxiety. So, grab your paintbrush, pen, or camera, and see how creativity can bring more joy into your life!

Ways to get creative:

  • Write a poem or journal
  • Write a song
  • Paint pottery
  • Paint sunflowers
  • Gather seashells
  • Paint rocks you find on the beach
  • Make talking sticks
  • Take photos of things that inspire you
  • Rearrange or decorate a space
  • Experiment in the kitchen

How to Improve Communication & Build Happier Relationships: Time, Touch, & Talk

Do you ever try to avoid conflict in relationships, but end up with more tension instead?

In this week’s Happy Success Ranch Retreats video, I’m sharing the power of the 3 Ts for communication: Touch, Talk, and Time. I first learned about this concept from Ellen Kreidman’s books Light His Fire and Light Her Fire at the eWomen Network conference in Dallas, and it completely shifted how I think about relationships. I’ll share a personal story about how I worked through hurt feelings with my husband, plus how the 5 Love Languages can help deepen connection and happiness.

Watch now and discover how small shifts in communication can bring more peace, love, and joy into your life.

Why Nature is the Happiness Boost You Need

Why Nature is the Happiness Boost You Need

Spending time in nature is one of the simplest, most powerful ways to boost your happiness. Plus, it’s completely free! Studies show that getting outside can reduce anxiety, lower depression, and lift your overall mood. Whether it’s a walk in the park, a hike in the woods, or standing in the middle of a bright sunflower field like I did in this week’s video, nature has a way of reminding you to slow down, breathe, and soak in the beauty around you.

When you’re outside, you step away from your screens, your to-do lists, and the constant noise of daily life. Your body can relax, your mind will clear, and your spirit will feel lighter. Even just 20 minutes in fresh air can make a difference in how you feel.

I’m challenging you to find a way to get outside and spend time in nature this week.
