  1. I’ve never owned or carried a backpack.
  2. Always follow your dreams. My twin sister and I moved to Nashville back in 1987 to follow our dreams of becoming songwriters. Our first song recorded was called “Love Speaks Louder than Words” and was recorded by Marie Osmond.
  3. When I was 4-6 weeks old, I was held on my first horse by my mom and my dad. Now I’ve made it my career. If you have a passion you love, make sure you follow it!
  4. My twin sister, Kaysie, and I were submitted for the Double Mint Gum commercials. We became one of the top 5 sets of twins in America. Go after your dreams, even if they are scary and risky. You never know what might happen.
  5. I had a secret crush on my now husband for 23 years. Always pursue your love. You never know what will happen.

Studies show that getting outside can reduce anxiety, lower depression, and lift your overall mood. Whether it’s a walk in the park, a hike in the woods, or standing in the middle of a bright sunflower field like I did in this week’s video, nature has a way of reminding you to slow down, breathe, and soak in the beauty around you.

When you’re outside, you step away from your screens, your to-do lists, and the constant noise of daily life. Your body can relax, your mind will clear, and your spirit will feel lighter. Even just 20 minutes in fresh air can make a difference in how you feel.
