How to Stay Positive During Difficult Times

How to Stay Positive During Difficult Times

Are you facing a difficult season? Do you find it hard to stay positive?

This week’s video is more personal about how I have been navigating sad circumstances without losing hope after my dad passed away unexpectedly last month. When life feels sad, heavy, or uncertain, it can be easy to let negativity take over. But your attitude shapes not only your own heart and healing, but it also impacts the people around you. Find something good in each day, even in the middle of pain. During difficult times, choose a positive perspective, which can help you move forward.

As we move into February and continue shaping 2026 with intention, I want to invite you to slow down and think about what brings you joy. This month’s free printable, “What I Love,” is an activity to help you notice the people, places, and things that you love. When you get clear on that, you can be more intentional about choosing those things more often.

I also wanted to share that there won’t be a video to go along with this freebie. I needed to travel to Salt Lake City to attend my dad’s funeral and spend time with my family. Thank you so much for your kindness, understanding, and grace during this time. I truly appreciate this community more than I can say.

“What I Love” is a reflection to help you remember what truly brings you happiness. As you continue into 2026, take time to list the people, places, and things that fill your heart and make you feel most alive. When you become aware of what you love, you can be more intentional about doing more of it. Let this page be a reminder to prioritize meaningful connections, experiences, and activities that nourish your happiness. The more you choose what you love, the more joy you invite into your everyday life.

Move from Overwhelm to Peace One Step at a Time

Move from Overwhelm to Peace One Step at a Time

Are you feeling overwhelmed? It’s an emotion that can sneak up on you in your business, your personal life, or even when something as simple as a stack of credit card statements shows up in the mail. When you feel overwhelmed, take things one step at a time and you’ll watch the overwhelm slowly lift. You do not have to fix everything at once. Start small, focus on what matters most, and give yourself permission to create calm in the middle of the chaos.

Click the video link below to hear about a moment this month when I felt incredibly overwhelmed and what I did about it to have more peace and clarity.

Don’t forget, when life feels overwhelming, happiness begins with one small, calm step forward.

Declutter for More Happiness

Declutter for More Happiness

What if the key to a happier 2026 is starting with a clean slate? In this week’s video, learn how decluttering can transform not only your physical space, but also your mindset. When your home feels lighter and more organized, your thoughts often follow. There’s also power in doing a digital declutter. Clear out emails, photos, and distractions that no longer serve you. As Marie Kondo says, “Keep only those things that speak to your heart, then take the plunge and discard the rest.” When you remove what does not bring value or joy, you create room for clarity, creativity, and growth. Staying organized in 2026 helps you focus on what truly matters and move confidently toward making your dreams a reality.

Are you unsure where to begin when it comes to decluttering? Set a timer on your phone for 10 minutes to help you get started! When the timer goes off, take a break, or keep pushing through.

For physical items in your home, make three baskets/zones: Keep, Donate, Toss. You can also have a permanent donate box/basket in your home. If decluttering all at once is overwhelming, keep the box/basket and as you go throughout your day and see things you don’t use anymore or are getting too old, put them in the box.

Physical places to start with decluttering in your home:

  • Nightstand
  • Makeup drawer in your bathroom
  • Sock drawer: Throw away all the ones with holes
  • Linen closet: Get rid of blankets you don’t use or need
  • Medicine cabinet
  • One desk drawer with papers

Digital declutter places to start:

  • Phone screenshots
  • Emails
  • Downloads folder on computer
  • Text messages
  • Phone contacts
  • Unused apps
  • Unfollow accounts on social media that make you anxious and don’t fill your life with inspiration and happiness
