Did you know that President Harry S. Truman once said, “Not all readers are leaders, but all leaders are readers.” Reading is one of the greatest investments you can make in yourself. Every book has the potential to teach you something new, challenge your thinking, encourage your heart, or inspire you to take your next step. Every page helps you become a little wiser than you were the day before. Use this reading log to keep track of the books you’ve completed, the authors who have inspired you, and how you would rate each one. My hope is that this printable encourages you to read more! This reading log is designed to help you build a habit of lifelong learning. Each time you finish a book, record the title, author, the date you completed it, and give it a rating. As your list grows, you’ll have a wonderful record of the ideas, stories, and lessons that have shaped your life. Every book is an opportunity to learn something new. Challenge yourself to read at least ten minutes a day or at least one chapter a day. Little bits add up over time, which is an idea I learned from one of my favorite books, The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson. You might even choose a reading goal for the year and use this tracker to watch your progress one book at a time. There’s a second page with the list of my favorite books, and a spot at the bottom for you to add books you want to read. Be sure to write them down so you don’t forget!

Free printable: Guiding Values

Free printable: Guiding Values

One of the most powerful things you can do for yourself is identify your core values. Your values are the beliefs and principles that guide your decisions, shape your behavior, and influence the direction of your life. Think of them as your inner lighthouse, helping you navigate opportunities, relationships, and challenges. When you know your values, it’s easier to determine what fits and what doesn’t.

Here’s how to use your printable. Look at the list included in the printable and circle the words that stand out to you. Which values consistently drive your attention, choices, and actions?

As you narrow your list, challenge yourself to identify your top three core values. These are the values that have likely been woven throughout your life. Once you’ve identified them, learn them as well as you know your phone number. Let them become a filter for your decisions and a guide for how you spend your time, energy, and attention. Write your top 3 values in the lighthouse and use them to guide your life.

My three guiding values are: Love, Happiness & Making a Difference

Free printable: Draw Yourself at Your Happiest

Free printable: Draw Yourself at Your Happiest

One of the most powerful exercises I experienced came from a branding workshop by Michele O’Hara of Luminous Brands Consultancy where, instead of introducing ourselves with words, we were asked to draw a picture of ourselves at our happiest. Not our job title. Not our accomplishments. Just a picture of what joy looked like in our lives. It was such a beautiful reminder that happiness leaves clues. When you begin paying attention to the moments that make you feel most alive, peaceful, fulfilled, and connected, you start discovering more about your purpose, your calling, and the life you were created to live.

Use the space on the page of the printable to draw yourself at your happiest and reflect on what brings you genuine joy. What are you doing? Who are you with? How do you feel? And now my question for you is, if this drawing is you at your happiest, are you doing it? Are you living out that drawing? Sometimes the path forward begins by reconnecting with what lights you up inside.

Weekly Planner

Take a few moments at the start of your week to plan ahead. As you look at your schedule, consider giving each day a specific focus within your business and life. Instead of trying to do everything every day, allow yourself to concentrate on one area at a time, like client work, marketing, admin tasks, or creative planning. When you group similar tasks together and focus on one category each day, it creates space for deeper work, less overwhelm, and more clarity. This simple rhythm can help you feel more organized, intentional, and at peace as you move through your week. A goal is what you’re working toward… your to-do list is how you get there, one small step at a time.

Daily Planner

Take a few moments to time block your day and plan what you want to accomplish. One simple shift that can make a big difference is going to bed just a little earlier, so you can wake up earlier and begin your day with purpose. Try to resist hitting the snooze button. Give yourself that quiet time to ease into your morning.

As you plan your day, focus on your most important tasks first when your mind is fresh and your energy is highest. When you put the most meaningful things at the beginning of your day, everything else tends to fall into place more easily. Small, intentional steps like this can help you feel more focused. At night, be sure to celebrate when you get so many tasks completed. It’s your celebration “yay” at the end of the day!

Free Printable: Reframe Your Brain

Free Printable: Reframe Your Brain

Your thoughts can shape the direction of your life. It’s easy to fall into patterns of negative thinking, but the good news is that you have the ability to change the way you think. When a negative thought appears, you can pause and choose to reframe it into something more positive and empowering. Thoughts are powerful things. They can either lift you up or weigh you down. By learning to “reframe your brain,” you can turn everyday frustrations into opportunities for gratitude and growth. This simple shift in thinking can help create a happier mindset and a brighter future.

The thoughts you think every day shape the direction of your life. Negative thoughts can quietly take away your joy, energy, and confidence, while positive thoughts can help you see new possibilities and brighter opportunities. This simple exercise is designed to help you become more aware of the thoughts running through your mind and give you the chance to reframe them. When a negative thought appears, pause and rewrite it into a more positive and empowering perspective. For example, instead of thinking “I hate the rain,” you might reframe it to “I love the flowers and trees the rain helps grow.” By practicing this shift, you train your brain to focus on what is good, hopeful, and possible. Remember, thoughts are powerful. When you reframe your thinking, you can help guide your life in a more positive direction.
